The overall result is derived from the average score achieved at all three examination stations. To pass the examination, at least 60 % of the maximum achievable points must be scored.
The minimum score at each examination station is 60 %. Should a score of less than 60 achieved at any examination station, the entire examination will be considered failed, and we reserve the right to cancel the assessment of the examination.
Should you not pass, we offer participants the opportunity for a one-time, binding, and free 15-minute follow-up discussion via live video conference. These discussions are carefully prepared. Your supervising language teachers are also welcome to participate in the discussions. In this discussion, we will address error patterns and explain how participants can improve to pass the exam. A further follow-up discussion can take place no earlier than six months after the last appointment. It should be noted that the exam does not involve a purely knowledge-based assessment, but rather tests language proficiency. This means that errors cannot be corrected by rote learning. Effective learning progress is achieved by continuously building, practising, and applying language proficiency.
The assessment of examination performance is carried out by an independent assessment team consisting of a certified doctor and a DaF (German as a Foreign Language) expert. The assessment usually takes place within 2 to 4 weeks after the examination day. The result will be sent electronically via e-mail from service@famed-test.de. Please ensure that the e-mail is not classified as spam.
We kindly ask that you refrain from making enquiries about the status of the results evaluation.
Upon passing the exam, participants will receive their certificate as a forgery-proof digital certificate shortly after the results are sent out, in a separate email. There will be no additional postal delivery. To apply for recognition, the certificate must be printed on both sides and sent by post to the respective service office.
